iCare for Saltwater Pools and Spas
Water Made Easy™: Specifically designed for Saltwater Pools and Spas
We know water chemistry can be difficult for you and iCare is here to help. This is another proven product from Ideal Water Care™ and has been established for years. iCare (Water made Easy™) simply floats in the water and remains low profile (about the size of a Smartphone, phone not included). It creates a better experience for you and your family.
Sustainable and Eco-friendly:
Unlike other devices, iCare is not a disposable product, all 3 sensors are replaceable, the battery is also rechargeable (need few times per year) and made of a UV and Sanitizer resistant plastic.
Peace of Mind:
It monitors 24/7 through a free simple App and does all the hard work for you. iCare will analyze your water, give you notifications and give you recommendation on what to add and how much to add, along with convenient reminders for regular care (cleaning filter(s), drain and clean, replacing cart, adding Soft Skin Spa™, etc.). It's not attached to the spa equipment, and it works independently from the spa. For example, if your hot tub loses power and starts to lose temperature, you will get notified. If bad weather is approaching, you will get notified to check your cover. 1-Year warranty. Your iCare should be calibrated every 6 months.
Comfort and Health:
Customer iCare dashboard:
· Temperature
· pH
· Sanitizer (Salt), for Chlorine and Bromine, order the original iCare
· TDS/Salt
· Local weather (receive notifications to lock your cover when bad weather is approaching)
· Adjusts for Ozone, UVC, Silver and Soft Skin Spa™
· Battery level

I would never recommend this product to anyone as they are JUNK!! I bought mine a while back and have had it replaced three or four times. The PH sensor quit working after a few months and has not worked since. The boards in the ICare keep going out so needed to be replaced. Newest problem is it will not show connected to WiFi even though it shows connected in the App. Emailing customer service and they are stating it is out of warranty now so would either have to pay 249.00 for just the core or they would give me 100.00 off the 499.00 price if I want to buy another one. Totally a disgrace that the company can’t provide a good product.
iCare is not a disposable product is their claim. 30 months in and my battery refuses to charge. Do a deep dive on the web and this is a common complaint. I wish the reviews were out there before I spent the money. I had also upgraded it to monitor Salt Water hottub and it is an ugly paperweight now!
I would never, ever order this item again. Not only did it start failing in less than a year, but the service team did not honor a replacement even with the two year warranty stated on the product. Original owner sold the rights to this property, as the service team stated., with them refusing replacement due to me not buying it from them…wow.
Do not buy this as the product is terrible over time, and the service is unreliable and not trustable. If I could give it a 0 then I would.
If you’re looking for a good product for only two years then this for you.
When I found this product it was so excited being new to maintaining spa water. It did exactly what I wanted until 6 months in when I replaced my first Ph probe. Then it was the core unit that went bad, then the Ph probe again, then the core, and so on and so on. During the warranty period everything was great because they covered everything under warranty. Right after my third core the battery went bad and since the warranty had run out so did my luck.
If you have the money and can afford to buy a new one every two years then this is for you.
When I first got my iCare, I was really impressed, made maintaining my hot tub a breeze. Unfortunately, the iCare does not have nearly the longevity it should for such a damn expensive product. After about the first year, my iCare developed issues and would not charge. Support (Ondio) sent me a new core and I was back in business. Not even a year later, that code developed issues and would not communicate at all. No bluetooth, no wifi, etc. Floating brick. Support (Ondio) sent me another core, which worked well for several months. Now, after using it for around 8 months, I was doing maintenance and noticed that the charge was down to about 34%. Figured I might as well go ahead and recharge it. After recharging it, it now consume a full charge in under 24 hours. Over the course of about 12 hours it will drop about 50%, so in order to continue to use it, it requires daily charging. Keep in mind, this is after charging it the first time since putting the replacement core in to service. The product has a great interface, easy to use, but that is all within the first year. I don't recommend spending this kind of money on something that has now proven repeatedly that is will not last. I got a "sorry but you are out of warranty message" from support when I reported this issue with the battery not holding up. Product that is not made to last is not worth dealing with and at the astronomical price charged, my hope is Ondio goes out of business. Hopefully someone will come up with something similar for a reasonable price that works well but also lasts. If Ondio thinks their product warrants the crazy price, then it better hold up and last. 3 failures in a couple years is a joke.
