Have used ICare for a year now and it has out preformed my expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone who has struggled with keeping levels balanced in their hot tub
This product is a complete waste of money. I’ve had nothing but many problems.. I followed all the instructions and recommendations needed to correct the issues. The photo below is the last one I took showing my pH sensor is still not working. I checked my pH balance using traditional test strips and it is perfect. I also take a water sample to my local pool supplier with my pH alkalinity and sanitizer are all perfect . It’s the product that does not work I have now thrown my Icare product in the trash.. it was a waste of $499. Buyer beware.
Ideal Water Care stepped up and serviced my account by helping manufacturer with my device. I've been using the device for two years and works great. Makes keeping your water chemistry in check with ease.
We purchasef icare in March 2024. So far we have had excellent use of it. Readings are accurate and recommendations for chemicals are accurate. My only issue is I wish it was easier to get support or troubleshoot, but I found the website and it helped. I had a problem with our wifi and we needed an extender and that solved the problem. Make sure during set up that all bluetooth items are off like an apple watch or phone. That was a glitch we had. After turning off apple watch and phone bluetooth set up was easy.
TLDR: Skip this product unless you enjoy buying expensive trash.
I bought 3 Icares for three vacation rental hot tubs. All three malfunctioned within the year. I spent $1500 on a product that I will likely throw away. The company replaced PH sensors, Cores, etc. But the new cores malfunctioned within months of being replaced as well. Customer service with Icare was automated, in another language, and frustrating. Eventually my local Spa store advocated for me and connected me to the owner of Icare. This is testament to how terrible the Icare customer service system is. Not only did the product fail multiple times, but there were no helpful resources except to contact the owner of the entire business. If you're thinking "Wow, this customer had 3 Icares and they all failed... SHE must be the problem..." I assure you, I thought that as well. The owner of our local Spa store took over the project and tried trouble shooting and reviving the Icares while in close conversation with the owner of Icare. Even the spa specialist was not able to revive the Icares. All this to say, I am sorely disappointed and would take down my review if I was refunded $1500 for the defective products. I don't want replacements. I am absolutely done with Icare.
